Partner & Family Sick Time
We all need time totake care of ourselves andour family members.By staying home from work when we’re ill, we’re also caring for our fellow partners.

Sick time allows you to take paid time away from work to care for yourself or an eligible family member. Sick time can be taken for illness, injury, medical care and more.
All partners are eligible to accrue sick time. You accrue 1 hour of sick time for every 25† hours worked, and you can use it as soon as it’s accrued. There is no sick time accrual maximum; however, you may only carry over up to 520 total hours of sick time from year to year (January 1 – December 31).
In locations with locally-mandated sick leave laws, Starbucks will comply with both the local laws and Starbucks Partner and Family Sick Time. In most cases, the Starbucks policy will govern, with a few exceptions.
